Matt Johnson is a Comanche County resident with deep roots in the communities he serves. A 2001 graduate of DeLeon High School, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Tech University in 2006.

Matt and his wife, Paige, have two daughters, Hattie and Peyden. The family lives on the family ranch, where they raise cattle and goats.

Matt has 10 years of experience in the insurance industry serving Hamilton, Comanche and surrounding counties. Trae Dowell is a proud Stephenville High School Class of 2001 graduate with strong roots in the Stephenville community. With three years of experience in the insurance industry, Trae is committed to providing personalized service and trusted insurance solutions throughout Stephenville and the surrounding areas.

Trae and his wife, Kelci, have two sons, Landon and Layton. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, supporting the Stephenville Yellowjackets and Honeybees, and watching his sons excel in their activities and sports.

Chris Wood brings a lifetime of competitive drive and deep Southern roots to Hometown Insurance Group. Born in Clifton, Texas, he spent 28 years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before returning to the Lone Star State. He has proudly called Glen Rose, Texas, home since 2008.
Before entering the insurance industry seven years ago, he spent the majority of his career in multimedia marketing and sales. He played both college and mini-tour golf. Today, he applies that same dedication to serving his insurance clients. As co-owner of the agency, he thrives on protecting his community and is always ready to go the extra mile for his clients.
Family and heritage are at the heart of everything he does. He is the proud father of four amazing children. When he is not working the phones to secure the best coverage for his clients, you will likely find him teeing off on the golf course or whipping up some Cajun food in the kitchen.

Paxton Willingham was born and raised on a cotton farm in West Texas and graduated from Morton High School before moving to Stephenville to attend Tarleton State University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Tarleton in 2020. While attending Tarleton, he met his wife, Lindsey, and they have been married for three years.

As a partner at Hometown Insurance Group, Paxton has spent the past five years helping individuals, families, farmers, ranchers, and business owners find insurance solutions that fit their needs. His agricultural background and commitment to customer service allow him to build strong relationships with clients throughout Texas.

When he's not working, Paxton enjoys spending time on the golf course, attending cattle shows, and relaxing at home binge-watching TV with Lindsey. He is proud to serve his community with the same hard work and values he learned growing up in West Texas.
